This may not be the right forum for this, but I can’t seem to get an answer anywhere else.
I’m working on one of my first real projects and it is a major remodel of a mountain home in South Lake Tahoe, CA.
We have ship-lap cedar siding and for the life of me I can’t seem to figure out how to add 2 x 4 cedar corner trim, also the client wants a portion of the siding to be board and batt; 1×3 vertical wood batts every 12″ on center.

If anyone can point me in the right direction or to a video on this, wow that would be great.

I’ve looked at walls sweeps, but can’t seem to get them vertical, so I’m not sure if wall sweeps are the answer.

    Please anyone

    Hi Jim

    Did you solve your problem?

Not really, I know it is suppose to be a sweep, but how do you do a vertical sweep verses a horizontal one.

      Hi Jim,

I can take a look at this for you this week, if you like?

      Kind regards,
