Hi!  I am a Structural Engineer returning to the profession after taking a break to raise my four children.  I need to update my skills to be effective in the workplace.  Learning Revit/BIM is definitely one of the essential skills required for today's workplace.  I have extensive experience with AutoCAD but most offices now are using REVIT in developing their drawings.

Hi Susan 🙂

You're absolutely right- a lot of companies are now making the transition to BIM (most are choosing Revit as their BIM-authoring software).
I really hope you enjoy the Course. Any questions- PLEASE just ask.

Cheers for now,
Ian

Hi. I'm also currently trying to transition back into the work force after having 3 kids and I'm a structural engineer. How did things go for you? How did getting up to speed on engineering go? I remember knowing a lot of code books by heart, well at least where to look and such, but now am unsure if I could draw a simple force diagram accurately.
