Sketching a boundary of the floor

Hello!
In my project I've created floor bigger than walls- house with a half-round terrace in front.  Is there any way to change a type of this "outdoor" peace of floor? I mean there is no wall on the round side, how can I select this particular part when sketching?
Thank you so much for the awesome course!)

Hi,

I'm pretty sure that I can envisage your project.

What you need to do is create these two different floor types as 2 Revit floors- one for the indoor area and one for the semi-circular outdoor area.

The GOLDEN RULE in Revit- "Model it like you would build it"- repeat that 10 times a night before sleep and you won't go far wrong.

So if (in reality) you would construct 2 different floor constructions on site- you need to model it as 2 Revit Floor elements- you can set each one to a different Floor Type- each containing the relevant material layers

Hope this help,

Kind regards,

Ian
